Suggests specific chase locations based on the day's outlook — not just 'weather is bad over there' but 'here's a lat/lon with good roads and good inflow'.
Deep dive
The targets engine runs four layers:
1. Parameter envelope — find grid cells meeting CAPE / shear / helicity thresholds for the forecast hour. 2. Timing window — require initiation 2–4 h after suggested arrival. 3. Road access — OS Open Roads + our own chaser corridor annotations; downgrade single-track or motorway-only access. 4. Diversification — cluster targets to avoid suggesting 10 identical coordinates.
Also: each target gets an inflow vector so you know which side to approach from, and a bail vector for the quickest safe exit.
